After the crash at Brno, the team had to bring the spare car to be able to continue competing through out the whole season.

And at Zolder the thing that Volvo had waited on for so long time finally came. Ulf Granberg and Robert Kvist finally took the Volvo to the first win for the season and Volvos first win ever in the ETC, this was also the firt time a turbocharged car also had won a event in the ETC. After the final round the Volvo teams had placed themselves in the top 5 in 4 out of 12 rounds.

After final performance the car was bought and brought back to Volvo Motorsport, where it was put away for a short time. It had come to Volvos attention that a man by name Artur Mendes, by Volvo Portugal, was interested in buying the car from Volvo Sweden, the deal was done with help from Volvo Portugal (the deal was done at the same time as the #TL003 was sold to Portugal to). Artur that previously had race with a Rover Vitesse now had his eyes on something different, a turbocharged Volvo 240. The car was shipped to Portugal in the end of 1984, in the same livery and condition as it was on the last day as it was on Mugello course. Now the car would meet the competition in the Portugese Championships.

The car was repainted plain white, but changed liverys many time in the course of the years 1985-1988, Artur engaged in uphill racing sometimes during those years to. After 1988 the car was put away for many years, but now just a couple a year ago Artur, just as Antonio Rodrigues, took his car out of hibernation. Its been almost 20 years since the car saw the living daylight, and once more Artur is drivin uphill racing with the car.

In 2014 the car was sold and brought to England, and the buyer was Englishman Andrew Beverly, and he have restored the car to its former glory, and as the car was back in 1984. The car is beeing raced with by Beverly in
the Heritage Touring Cup.
